VION’s staff in Breeding and Commercial Animals are currently advising farmers with the help of findings derived from FarmingNet. This information system is addressed in the first instance to producers who supply their animals to a VION slaughterhouse, either directly or through VION Breeding and Commercial Animals.

You link to FarmingNet online. The system offers the simple and speedy feedback of slaughterhouse findings to the producer. Based on the data resulting, the farmer can see what has been successful in his production operations and what has been less successful. With the help of weight data and classification results he can then quickly focus on optimising the next delivery. The findings give useful information about the pigs’ state of health, and form an important basis for consultations with the veterinary practitioner or with the advisory body for promotion of the health of stock and optimisation of biological and economic performance. FarmingNet is thus an outstanding instrument if you want to improve the health and quality of your animals and optimise your business processes.

On the FarmingNet system the data remain available to the producer, irrespective of the VION slaughterhouse to which he has delivered his animals. This makes it possible for farmers to estimate their potential over an extended period of time and on the basis of comparing plants.

FarmingNet includes different forms of classification and invoicing dialogues. The following VION plants are currently attached to FarmingNet: Crailsheim, Emstek, Lausitz, Lingen, Perleberg and Zeven. Other will follow in the near future.
