Good Farming Welfare
Our closed control system begins with breeding, the high standards of which are defined together with everyone involved. Following this, correct animal treatment and health are ensured through continual controls and documentation. Here, our own safety requirements are significantly higher than those stipulated by the law, and naturally meet the IKB and QS quality and safety regulations concerning traceability from the dining table back to the source farm.

Risk-orientated meat controls
Within the framework of the EU food law, we have developed this unprecedented risk-orientated meat inspection system for pig slaughtering. Thanks to targeted monitoring, no actual cutting of the meat is necessary. This reduces the risk of cross-contamination, and gives veterinary experts on the slaughter line more time to examine the animals.
Through new monitoring systems on the slaughter line and a wide range of information from agriculture, risks are brought to controllable levels. The farmer receives feedback from the inspection results for his/her livestock management.
