Quality Management Systems

QS-System

QS (Quality and Safety) denotes a complete, integrated traceability system for meat and meat products in Germany. Starting with the farmer, and ending with the final consumer, information can be provided on each animal and how it was processed. Each partner in the system is registered and identifiable via an ID number.

IKB-System

IKB (Integrale Ketenbeheersing – Integrated Chain Control) is the Dutch equivalent of Germany‘s QS in agricultural production, and is compatible with it. IKB strictly regulates the field of feed-farm-processing assurance. For further information, please visit http://www.ikbvarkens.nl/.

HACCP

ISO 9001 (International Organisation for Standardization)

VION has implemented DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 as its working standard, thereby meeting its own high demands for quality. All ISO-relevant activities and procedures are described in processes. The system thus provides a general basis for customer satisfaction and continuous improvement of the production process and our products. BRC-Standard (British Retail Consortium)

The British Retail Consortium Standard is highly regarded internationally and has now developed into a model standard for the food industry. Quality Management Systems IFS-Standard (International Food Standard)

With the IFS standard, VION offers a uniform, Europe-wide standard based on a reliable testing system. The standard originated from the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), launched in 2000 to improve food safety through CIES – The Global Food Business Forum. ECO-BIO-SKAL

EU-BIO Regulation

The EU BIO Regulation (EU Regulation 1804/99) governs assurance of origin at the tracking and tracing stage in the production of ecological foodstuffs.
