Work experience placements

Internship

‘Learning by doing’ – under this motto you have the chance of joining the VION Food Group on a work experience placement. Get fit for your professional future and forge your first contacts within the company! We offer students coming from practically all subject areas the opportunity of putting what they have learned into practice, setting their course for the future and considering their career goals. We are particularly interested in students from the following fields – industrial and machine engineering, electronics, production technology, foodstuffs technology, and also business science and economics.

You should invest at least three months in a placement if you want to be more than just a spectator and have the chance of working proactively.

Diploma theses

Suppose you want to give your diploma thesis a practical slant – why not write it in partnership with the VION Food Group? Ideally you will come up with a theme you have chosen yourself – or you can talk to us, and we will help you find out what appealing topics might interest you as a dissertation subject. We look forward to hearing your ideas, and will be happy to give you individual support with your project.

Trainee programmes

Our trainee programmes are designed to prepare you for challenging positions in the VION Food Group, as a professional specialist or an executive. By accumulating experience at different business locations and business units, perhaps even in a country abroad, you can get to know our company, our structures and our corporate culture in an intensive way and form valuable contacts.

Our trainee programmes are individually tailored, being focused on the applicant’s background and on the future skills that are going to be in demand. Alongside   training on the job, we will also support you with career development opportunities and the expert advice of a career mentor.

Direct entry

If you have just graduated from college or university, and want to roll up your sleeves and get directly to work – you should consider the option of direct entry. This way in starting your professional career with the VION Food Group you can look forward to a responsible position in a short time, provided that you bring the right commitment and performance to the job.  The systematic induction and support provided by our personnel development schemes will soon make you feel at home with us. Take a look at the jobs available on our list of vacancies, or apply on your own initiative by sending us a full and meaningful statement.

How do I apply?

Take a look at our website www.vionfoodgroup.com and you will find all our current job offers. But when it is a matter of work experience placements, diploma theses or traineeships, we do count on your using your own initiative. So please just get in touch!

If you are interested in a particular location, you are welcome to apply there on your own initiative. You will find all the regional addresses on the site.

You can also apply on your own initiative by sending your full and informative statement to
info@jobs-vionfood.com.

If you want to get in touch with us by phone, Ms Swantje Glöde will be happy to talk to you on +49 (0)211/44033-562.
